The membership of the Judicial Committee is generally made up as follows:

• The Law Lords who will be the first Justices of the Supreme Court (as at July 2009) do most of the judicial work of the Judicial Committee. 
  
  
• Other Lords of Appeal, including former Lords of Appeal in Ordinary.
